A BBC sports program about the FA Cup was disrupted by sexual cries apparently coming from a pornographic film shown on the set.

Liverpool against Wolverhampton: it was one of the posters for the 32nd finals of the FA Cup on Tuesday evening. On this occasion, BBC Sport broadcast a pre-match program presented by former international striker Gary Lineker.

When the presenter began a duplex with a reporter in the field, explicit noises from a pornographic film began to echo across the set. “I don’t know who is making that noise,” the presenter first reacted, smiling and a little embarrassed. “It’s hot in this studio, it’s a bit noisy too”. Before specifying: “I don’t know if someone sends something to someone’s phone, if it’s a joke. I don’t know if you heard it at home”.

Gary Lineker eventually found where the sound was coming from and shared his find on his Twitter account. A phone was hidden on the set. “We found it taped to the back of the set. For a sabotage it was quite funny,” tweeted the former football international.

Well, we found this taped to the back of the set. As sabotage goes it was quite amusing. ??? pic.twitter.com/ikUhBJ38Je

The BBC did not really appreciate this joke. She launched an internal investigation and apologized to viewers who may have been offended.
