Troubles are increasing continuously regarding Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Prithviraj’. After Karni Sena, Sanatan Sena has filed a criminal complaint against the actor. Apart from Akshay Kumar, the name of production house Yash Raj Films and filmmaker Aditya Chopra are also included in this complaint of Sanatan Sena. An official complaint letter of Sanatan Sena National President Surjit Singh has surfaced online in this regard.
In this complaint, Surjit Singh has mentioned that he wants to file a criminal complaint under the Indian Penal Code 1860 against the manufacturers on several grounds. The complaint letter states that an attempt has been made to jointly and severally produce, direct and script a Hindi film under the name ‘Prithviraj’. They claim that their move may hurt the religious and social sentiments of the people.
He also said that the kind of picture the film is trying to show to the Hindu warrior king His Majesty Prithviraj Chauhan is a clear disrespect towards him. This is an offense under the Indian Penal Code 1860.
