Almost nothing is known about The Last of Us multiplayer, but Neil Druckmann anticipates it being Naughty Dog’s “most ambitious project” – The Last of Us: Part II

The multiplayer of The Last of Us: Part 2 has been simmering for a long time, so much so that it even they started before than the title itself starring Ellie. Naughty Dog has made it clear that it would take a few months to see itbut at least they have already advanced slight details of what we can expect, and the best way to imagine it is with the concept art above.

Neil Durckmann, co-president of Naughty Dog, has given an interview for the ComicBook medium and has made it clear that the multiplayer of The Last Of Us is the “most ambitious project” of the entire study. Several weeks ago he also advanced the following about the other secret game: “There is another project that I am not going to say anything about and for which we are very excited”, whose statements have been collected from The Gamer.

“You know that there is a multiplayer project of The Last of Us that we have been working on for a long time, even since before The Last of Us Part 2 came out. It is the most ambitious project we have ever done, expand the world even more, still tell a story but in a multiplayer spaceI won’t say too much about it,” reveals Druckmann whose clip has been picked up by Twitter user DonTheBomb.

Naughty Dog will no longer announce games well in advance

Apparently, the Californian studio will no longer show or announce its new video game until a date close to completion of development. However, it is not a decision that belongs 100% to Naughty Dog, since it is owned by PlayStation and this is the one that will ultimately decide what to do with this type of practice. The manager reveals that this caused some work-life balance problems for some workers.
