At last, one of the best kept secrets of HBO Max and we already know when we will be able to see, again, in action the trio of protagonists of the mythical fiction of the cable network, Sex and the City. During the virtual event held on the occasion of the launch in Europe of the new streaming service -the next October 26th– It has been announced that And Just Like That … will be available from December 2021.
The news has been released by Sarah Jessica Parker herself, in the video that you can see on these lines. In it, he encourages us to subscribe to HBO Max to make the wait until the premiere, in December, of this new chapter in the lives of the three friends from the Big Apple more bearable. What is not included in this preview is the exact day on which the first episode of the fiction will be available, but it will be before welcoming the new year.
Have passed 17 years since we last saw Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha on television, and 11 since his last big screen appearance, with Sex and the City 2. Michael Patrick King, director of the two films inspired by Sex in New York, picks up the witness of Darren Star -‘showrunner ‘from the original series- as the creator of this’ revival’ of the hit fiction that came to HBO at the end of the 90s. Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson and Evan Handler round out the cast of the long-awaited sequel.
