Artepiano lifts the veil on its new artistic season and the association in memory of Hélène Serbat will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2023.

The Artepiano Association organizes musical encounters each year through its concerts and interludes. The much missed and the soul of this association, Hélène Serbat, 1st Piano Prize of the Marguerite Long school in Paris, is the founding president. With Anne Queffelec, honorary president, and Olga Nicolas, current president, the Artepiano association has been working since 1993 for a wider dissemination of classical music in Agen. It will open its 2022-2023 artistic season next December and will celebrate its 30th anniversary on this occasion.

Thus during the three decades commemorated in 2023, virtuoso pianists have succeeded: France Clidat. Catherine Collard, Jacques Rouvier, Ilia Rachovsky, Ventsislav Yankoff, Luis Fernando Perez, Adolfo Gutierrez, Cyprien Katsaris, Bertrand Chamayou, David Kadouch, Trio George Sand, Lukas Geniusas, Lise Berthaud, Adam Laloum, Camille Thomas, Béatrice Berrut, Maria Masycheva, Georgy Gromov, Fanny Clama Girand, Vanya Cohen, Aleksey Semenénko, Inna Firsova, Pascal Amoyel, Jonas Vitaud and the Toulouse Chamber Orchestra, Victor Julien-Laferrière, Guillaume Bellom, Solenne Paidassi, David Bismuth, Ophélie Gaillard, Vassilis Varvaressos, the duo Gaspard Dehaene and Anne Queffelec, Pierre Fouchenerret, Claire Desert, the young prodigy Carla Roman, Orchester Consuelo, direction Victor Julien-Laferrière and other celebrities such as Eve Ruggieri, Yann Queffelec delighted music lovers from Age.

For the Artepiano association, participating in the discovery of young talents, winners of prestigious competitions, supporting them, making them discovered is one of its essential missions. Thanks to the Musicales, the highlight of its artistic season, it reveals to the Agenais the masters of tomorrow.

Heading into the new season

The Ducourneau Theater in Agen will host on December 2, 2022 at 8:30 p.m., the Trio Sora (Piano, violin, cello). On the program: Clara Schumann and Schubert.

Outside the walls, in collaboration with the Auditorium de Prayssas on February 12, 2023 at 4 p.m., a recital by pianist Luis Fernando Perez is scheduled. He will play pieces by Mompou, Albeniz and Chopin.

In tune with Pont-du-Casse March 24, 2023 at 8:30 p.m., place at the Quatuor Strada and Raphaël Pidoux, cellist. On the program: Beethoven and Schubert.
Four internationally renowned soloists from the most prestigious ensembles. Four major soloists brought together by friendship and passion…. An exceptional moment that they decided to share with Raphaël Pidoux on the “magnificent, powerful and melodious cello”. (The world)

“Around the viola” days on March 25 and 26, 2023, a regional meeting organized by the viola class of Magali Apparailly from the Departmental Conservatory of Music in Agen. A Master class will be given by the violist Lise Berthaud and the creation of a musical tale by Corentin Apparailly, composer and violist.

Musical interludes and escapades of Artepiano

Sweet escape to Madrid in Spain from November 12 to 15, 2022, to listen to the opera “Aida” at the Royal Theater Concert performed by the Orchestra of Saint Cecilia in Rome and Lisa Batiashvili, violinist. Also discover the riches of the city of Madrid.
At the Halle aux Grains in Toulouse on March 21, 2023 at 8 p.m., “Les Grands Interprètes” will honor pianist Bertrand Chamayou and cellist Sol Gabetta who will perform works by Mendelssohn, Holliger and Coll.
Interlude in Reims in June 2023, the date remains to be specified, for the festival “Les Flâneries Musicales” and discovery of the heart of Champagne.

A flagship and closing concert for this anniversary season is planned with the honorary president and godmother Anne Queffelec.
