The Muziketo association wishes all music lovers a happy new year filled with notes and concerts. So, meet on Friday January 20, at 8:30 p.m., at the Château d’Aubiac with Jean-Luc Fabre’s quartet. Muziketo is pleased to welcome a local son to the Château d’Aubiac: bassist and double bassist, Jean-Luc Fabre is back in his native Lot-et-Garonne after many years spent in Béarn. Known mainly as an accompanist, he presents this evening of January 20, a repertoire consisting solely of compositions and explores the most “jazz” of its facets, one of the most personal. He surrounded himself with solid Aquitaine musicians to form his quartet: Bordeaux musicians Serge Moulinier on piano and Gaétan Diaz on drums; Basque Pascal Ségala on guitar.
Jean-Luc Fabre offers us a fine, elegant jazz in which energy and emotion flow, carried by a musical complicity at all times.
