Carried away at the age of 72 by the Covid-19, Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff had come to Beaumont in 2004. The principal of Saint-Joseph college remembers.
Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff now shine with the stars… They came to Beaumont-de-Lomagne, more precisely to the Saint-Joseph college, in 2004, before giving a conference in the village hall and presenting their book that they had just come from. go out: “Before the big bang”.
The director of Saint-Joseph, Laurence Clavet, remembers the meeting with the Bogdanoff brothers: “They had come as neighbors; they were owners of a house in the Gers, at Monfort. I got to know them through the intermediary of mutual friends, they were endearing and brilliant personalities. “
Many people, students, parents, attended this beautiful evening, eighteen years ago. The conference was very attractive and Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff formed a fusional duo. Inseparable throughout their careers, the twins became known to the general public as popularizers and storytellers, notably with their successful show “Temps X” (1979-1987).
If they were popular media figures until their death, the scientific value of their university theses and the quality of their popularization work were severely contested by the scientific community from the “90s”.
