Created a year ago, the Catar collective offers events combining electronic music and exhibitions. The next showcase will take place this Saturday evening at the niche, 6 place Saint-Jean in the City. On this occasion, Catar invited the young photographer Paloma Faugere, winner of the prize for photographic creation under the age of 20 at the last Social Photography Festival. In addition to the exhibition, his portrait works will also be screened during the sets of the collective’s DJs.
Four artists from the electro scene will follow one another on the turntables throughout the evening. Akim builds a musical universe combining disco, house and micro; handling house, deep house, tech house and techno, Maurice Skine has the art of driving a dancefloor crazy; involved in the electronic music scene for many years, Janoz, who needs no introduction, joined the collective around a project devoted to electronic music and art in all its forms; Finally, Hugo D will distill his electro and melodic techno sounds with talent during the evening.
