Season 2 of Demon: Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba ended with the expected deaths of the Demons Gyutaro and Daki thanks to Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke join forces to fight them.
After having survived the Infinity Train, our protagonists continue to travel through the demon-infected lands in order to get a cure for Nezuko. On their way they meet Tegen, the pillar of sound, with whom they team up to rescue their wives, who have gone missing in the Entertainment District. All this while the big bad, Muzan Kibutsuji, continues to roam free.
Once there, they discover that two Demons lead the Entertainment District, so they all join forces to take them down. In the fight, Tanjiro is left without his prized special katana that can kill Demons. So he now he must travel to the Blacksmiths Village to get another.
What will the third season of Demon Slayer be about?
This new installment will adapt the Arc of the Village of the Blacksmiths from the mangaka Koyoharu Gotoge and will introduce us to several new and recurring characters from Kimetsu no Yaiba. Tanjiro must now travel to the blacksmith village because his sword was badly damaged during his time in the entertainment district.

Finally, what would be the release date of the new installment of Kimetsu no Yaiba: Return to the Blacksmiths Village has been revealed. The chosen date has been next April 9, 2023. It is expected that in Spain it will be the same day and at the same time as its broadcast in Japan by Crunchyroll, as it happened with season 2.

An epic movie worth seeing in the theater
As of March 2, what would be the second film in the franchise titled Guardians of the Night: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Heading to the Blacksmiths’ Village is now available in theaters. In this epic film we will see episodes 10 and 11 of the Entertainment District arc together with the first episode of season 3: Heading to the Blacksmiths’ Village.
