The French group founded in the 90s is asking the Les Déferlantes festival to reconsider its decision to organize the festival in Perpignan, otherwise it would cancel its visit.
Louise Attaque announced via a press release published on January 10, 2023 that the group refused to participate in the Les Déferlantes festival under the current conditions. This announcement comes after a similar cancellation from Indochine. Indeed, the festival was moved to Perpignan, from Céret where it was initially to be held, without informing the artists.

The mayor of RN Louis Aliot having welcomed this coming to his city of the festival, Indochine like Louise Attaque threaten to cancel their participation if the decision is not immediately canceled.
“It’s a festival that we know well and that we love”, can we read on the press release published on the Instagram account of Louise Attaque. “Initially planned for the town of Ceret, it was moved to the town of Perpignan by the organizers, without our having been consulted.” Consequently, faced with the recovery of the festival by the RN, as well as “the method of the fait accompli”, the group “demand[e] also to the management of Les Déferlantes to do everything possible to find another place.”
“In the current state of things and in this specific context, we do not wish to participate in this event”, concludes the press release.
