Fortnite launches virtual concert series

(ETX Daily Up) – Get ready to dance on Fortnite! The video game, which is a hit, gives us an appointment again for a series of virtual concerts at the beginning of October. On the program: Mohamed Hamaki, Aya Nakamura or Tones And I.

Fortnite had already made the buzz during lockdowns by offering concerts of world stars with Ariana Grande and Travis Scott on its platform. With “Soundwave Series”, the popular video game confirms its desire to perpetuate virtual concerts.

Epic Games has just announced the launch of this project with a first performance carried by Egyptian singer Mohamed Hamaki. Internet users will be able to find from October 1, 2021 from 8 pm the artist who will offer the first performance of his song “Leilt Elomr”. The concert will be available for 48 hours non-stop, until Sunday October 3 at 8 p.m.

Epic Games clarified that each artist and each concert will offer a unique experience on the platform. Players will be able to watch the performances in different ways, including entering the “HAMAKI’S MUSICAL SHOW” playlist and will benefit from the “Picture-in-Picture” in the “Battle Royal” mode, available at a certain time during the event, accessible from the settings.

Other artists such as Australian singer Tones And I, Brazilian rapper Emicida and Japanese composer and performer Gen Hoshino will also perform concerts, details of which will be announced shortly. French singer Aya Nakamura has already been announced on the program.
