The Rings of Power Season 2 is already underway, and although we will still have to wait a good number of months to be able to enjoy the new episodes of this series set years before the events of The Lord of the ringsfrom amazon studios does not want us to forget about the show by presenting several signings for its cast, including an old acquaintance of this type of betting on the fantasy genre.
We are talking about Ciarán Hinds, recruited alongside Rory Kinnear and Tanya Moodie by Amazon subsidiary film and television production and distribution company for a recurring role; that is, it will have some importance in the plot. Hinds has a long career as an actor, almost always in supporting roles although he has also starred in the odd title, for example Netflix’s acclaimed The Terror, but perhaps fans of the fantasy genre will remember him for having played Mance Rayder in Game of Thrones.
At the moment we do not know which character he will adapt, if it is not a new one for The Rings of Power. Same case of Rory Kinnear (Bill Tanner in Daniel Craig’s 007 saga) and Tanya Moodie (Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker). There are no clues about the rest of the cast’s news either.
A success despite everything
The series of the rings of power has polarized the audience. Despite this, and always according to data shared by Amazon Studios, it managed to bring together in its first eight episodes just over 100 million viewers – still, T.he Boys accumulated more minutes of viewed content on Prime Video. Now its new season is being shot in the United Kingdom, which could arrive in 2024.
