“Give Namor back his penis”: The networks go crazy with the edited images of ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ and Tenoch Huerta responds

The actor has responded to the viral publication about his character’s genitals and has confirmed which of the two versions is the real one.

There are a couple pictures of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever that are running through social networks like wildfire. In them appears one of the new characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe introduced in the sequel Black Panther: Namor, who is played by Tenoch Huerta. The leader of the aquatic nation of talocan He is a mutant and his clothing is reduced to jewelry and a green swimsuit. About the latter is what we want to talk to you about.

In the Twitter user’s post velobasoup, that has gone viral, you can see a comparison of two images of Namor. The text of the tweet points to the difference between one and the other: “Give Namor back his penis”. Yes. In the photograph on the left, the bulge of the character’s genitals is much more noticeable than in the one on the right, where it is not visible.

Many users of the social network have believed that Marvel Studios has edited the images to hide that part. However, Huerta himself has responded to this publication and has cleared up doubts, confirming which image is real and which is edited.

“The only thing I can say is: the original is the photo on the right. Without the bulge! That is the original”says the actor in rolling stones. “No, I mean, I’m not going to lie to people. All men in the world have a fragile masculinity, but not on that subject. I will say that the correct one, the real one, is the photo on the right.”

Calendar of future Marvel releases: the movies and series that will come after ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’

So, in reality, the edited photo is the one of the bump and not the one that many thought had been modified by Marvel in post-production of the film.

In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Namor is the antagonist of the story. The character, one of the two confirmed mutants in the franchise -besides him, is also kamala khan/ms marvel (Iman Vellani) -, leads his Talocan nation against Wakanda. The latter, for her part, is not in her best moment: her king T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) is dead and shuri (Letitia Wright) must face the formidable challenge and responsibility of protecting her people.

The film, directed by Ryan Coogler, also introduces Riri Williams/ironheart (Dominique Thorne), who will have her own series on Disney+ and will be titled ironheart.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is becoming one of the films of the year, collecting, so far, more than 552 million dollars all over the world.
