A charity evening is organized on November 19 at Saint-Etienne Cathedral by the Lions Club.
Singer Deedee Daniel and the Gospel Walk choir will give a charity concert at Saint-Etienne Cathedral in Toulouse on Friday, November 19.
The evening is organized with the Lions Club des Jacobins. All profits will be donated to the club’s partner associations.
The Gospel Walk school is located rue Raimu, in Toulouse. Created in March 2010, its goal is to “take gospel culture out of its reserve and extend it to all socio-cultural circles and on a first regional but also national and international scale”.
Gospel Walk Toulouse Nord offers singing workshops of different levels, MasterClasses and individual lessons for all audiences for all those who wish to improve their skills or simply to learn in joy and good humor the basics of Gospel singing. In addition to the courses, the school offers and organizes various public and private musical events.
Of Haitian origin, Deedee Daniel is choir director and solo singer of the Gospel Walk. “His powerful voice, by his faith, transcends his audience from rehearsal rooms to performance stages.” She ensures “a warm and charismatic presence”.
Singing teacher, she has been teaching for several years. She has worked alongside the biggest names in gospel, soul and jazz (Gospel 100 voices, Liz Mc Comb, Rhoda Scott, Gospel Harmony, etc.).
