The fiction is titled ‘Black Snow’ and follows the investigation of the murder of a girl in a small Australian town.
Travis Fimmel managed to be a star thanks to playing Ragnar in Vikings. Later, he did some other work like Warcraft: The Origin or the HBO series Raised by Wolves. And now he has recently premiered in Australia a new series where he leaves the history series behind.
The fiction is titled Black Snow and he plays James Cormack, a detective specializing in unsolved cases. This time, he must solve the murder of Isabel Barker (Talijah Blackman-Corowa), whose death shocked the small South Sea island town in 1994, but no one could solve the case.
25 years later, James is determined to bring closure to the family and Isabel’s friends, which means she must gather all the information she can to find out who the girl was when she was alive in order to find the person who murdered her.
James’ job is made much easier once he opens a time capsule Isabel made in high school, revealing letters and other documents left behind by her. As you can see in the trailer above these lines, the series jumps from the present to the past as James investigates the clues left behind by Isabel.
Having already premiered in Australia, many have already been able to enjoy the first season that consists of six episodes and many consider him the sexiest detective on television, in addition to the perfect new agent 007:
