Last Sunday, the XXV meeting of the choirs took place at the Robert-Hossein space in front of a loyal and always enthusiastic audience. Five groups were present: Yeu Canta directed by Isabelle Dalomis for two years, Cracade, a group of friends who sing together in Bigourdan, Pyrénéa women’s choir, one of the only entirely female groups in the department, the Chanteurs montagnards de Lourdes, faithful to this gathering for many years and Saint Pé Chante, led by Pierre Desmasles, who closed the evening. Each ensemble performed carols from their repertoire and traditional Christmas carols in Spanish, African, Provençal or English. Enough to trigger the applause of the public who enjoyed the finale with all the groups for Se Canto and then Le refuge resumed in chorus. A good time spent together with all the generations before celebrating Christmas.
