While the 16th season of the M6 show, L’amour est dans le meadow, comes to an end on Monday evening, the candidate of Tarn-et-Garonne, Delphine, confides her impressions of this adventure. A last show which also promises ultimate “twists”, according to his own admission.
Monday, the report of the show will come to end this season of Love is in the meadow, can you tell us what is your overall feeling about this adventure?
I was on this show to find love but in the end there was so much more. I learned about the way I interacted with people. At first, I didn’t want to watch the shows and then I thought maybe it would be interesting. It feels weird to see yourself on TV, but by doing that, I learned some things about myself.
It must be a funny experience indeed to be discovered on the small screen.
Yes, sometimes I saw myself at ease, other times more helpless. I’m not perfect and I saw that I could still improve (laughs). Sometimes it was difficult, I cried in front of my TV. But in any case, I was true. I did a lot of retrospection after the show, it allowed me to take stock of my life and that’s really great.
So it’s a very positive experience?
Yes very positive. I think I would recommend it to other farmers. If we play the game fully, it goes beyond the love affair. It’s also a human adventure and frankly it did me a lot of good. It takes us out of our farms and our daily lives. Sometimes it’s hard, especially social media comments, but it allows you to arm yourself and go beyond what people can think or say.
The fact also of talking about my homosexuality, even if it is a path that I had started two years ago, it confirmed that the eyes of others did not bother me, that I had to be what I was. , with my wealth, with my weaknesses, and that’s what appeared on the screens.
I received letters from the production, very positive testimonials. People who wanted to show me their sympathy, it was very nice. I would like to thank all the people I met for their kindness. Again this morning, I was in Caussade and a lady who must have been 85 years old recognized me. We talked about a lot of things, about tolerance, I thought that was wonderful.
Without revealing the end of the adventure, will viewers have any surprises on Monday night?
There have always been surprises (laughs). So yes of course! This adventure is like in real life, we progress, we take a small step back, a small step aside, there are twists and turns. And there yes, there is a twist … in spite of myself, but there is one (laughs).
