Marvel Studios is working on a ‘WandaVision’ spin-off about Agatha Harkness

Details about the project are being kept under wraps, but the fiction is described as a “dark comedy.” The character played by Kathryn Hahn has become a favorite of MCU fans.

It’s been Agatha all along! Marvel Studios is working on a ‘spin-off’ of WandaVision upon Agatha Harkness, the villain played by Kathryn Hahn.

As reported Variety, Hahn will bring the character back to life – who has become a fan favorite of the Marvel Cinematic Universe– in this new studio project for Disney +. At the moment, details about the plot are being kept under wraps, but she is described as a “dark comedy”.

Jac Schaeffer, screenwriter of WandaVision, will serve as writer and executive producer of the fiction about Agatha Harkness.

WandaVision made history at the 2021 Emmys by becoming the first Marvel Studios series to get any nominations in the awards given by the Television Academy. In total, the fiction added 23 applications. Even Hahn got an a Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series.

That is not your only milestone. WandaVision was also in charge of giving the starting gun to the Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and has been the first series of the study. His arrival at Disney + happened in early 2021.

In the season finale of WandaVision, after a fight between Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Agatha Harkness, the Avenger defeats the villain, but the latter remains alive. Specific, Wanda Maximoff forces Hahn’s character to continue playing the role of the nosy neighbor she chose in the world created by the superheroine. And it also gives you a heads up: at some point, when you need it, it will come back for it.

Therefore, the fiction about Agatha Harkness can take different paths. Maybe a prequel about its origins? Or is it the story of how Agatha Harkness manages to escape from the prison that the Scarlet Witch has imposed on her?

While you wait for updates on the project, check out the trailer for Hawk Eye that you will find on these lines. Fiction about Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), which will introduce Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), premieres on Disney + the November 23.
