‘Matrix Resurrections’: The past returns to Neo and Trinity in the new trailer

The new installment in the saga created by sisters Lana and Lilly Wachowski and starring Keanu Reeves opens in Spanish theaters on December 22.

Neo and Trinity they return to the big screen on December 22th with Matrix Resurrections. The new installment of the saga created by sisters Lana and Lilly Wachowski again features Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss as protagonists. You can now see the new trailer of the film that has premiered Warner Bros.

Directed and written by Lana Wachowski -the only one of the sisters who has returned in this installment-, Matrix Resurrections follows Neo some time after the events that occurred in the previous movies. The protagonist seems to remember nothing of his life with Trinity. She neither. But the truth reappears little by little when Morpheus once again offers Neo the red pill.

On this occasion, Morpheus is played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and not by Laurence Fishburne as in the original trilogy. It is the young version of Neo’s mentor who appears in the film.

Neil Patrick Harris plays the protagonist’s therapist and Priyanka Chopra the adult version of Hours, the protégé of The oracle. Jonathan Groff, meanwhile, plays the new villain. Jessica Henwick completes the main cast of the film in the role of Bugs, one of the members of Morpheus’ group. On these lines, do not miss the trailer.
