Actress Mimie Mathy burst into tears during the Enfoirés concert broadcast Friday evening on TF1.
With Patrick Bruel, Michèle Laroque or Lorie, Mimie Mathy is a pillar of the Enfoirés troupe. Small in size, big in heart, the actress of “Joséphine, guardian angel” is happy to participate in shows for the benefit of the Restos du Coeur each year. Not in 2022 because a back operation had deprived her of this reunion. So finding her artist friends and the public – absent for 2 years from the Enfoirés concerts due to the Covid-19 – was a great moment for Mimie Mathy.
That’s why the troupe has a surprise in store for him. Mimie Mathy began to sing “I love him to die” by Francis Cabrel, accompanied by Lorie, Patrick Bruel and Patrick Fiori. Then the whole Enfoirés troupe arrived from behind, changing the lyrics, and wearing a white t-shirt on which was written “I love Mimie”. The actress couldn’t hold back her tears throughout the song.
It’s touching this tribute to Mimie Mathy, it feels that she is moved and that she did not expect it. #enfoires2023

At the end of the song, still with tears in her eyes and applauded by the public at the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon, Mimie Mathy joined the Enfoirés to tell them that they were really part of her family and that she too, she loved them to death. “We have the family we have and we have the family we create. And the Enfoirés for me is a great family. Thank you!”
Patrick Bruel justified this tribute in the program “Grands reportages” on February 26 on TF1. “It’s an extraordinary act to have shown to what extent we could overcome and optimize the handicap, we could impose it and make it a strength. With this eternal smile, we have completely concealed for years that our daily life does not doesn’t always have to be easy”.
The Enfoirés concert attracted 8.07 million viewers on TF1 Friday evening, i.e. 40.2% of the entire public. The CD and DVD of the concert have been on sale since this morning in supermarkets at €19.99 and €24.99 for the benefit of the beneficiaries of the Restos du Coeur.
