The patroness of the Miss France contest Sylvie Tellier was injured while skiing in Avoriaz in the Alps. She’s going to have to have her cruciate ligaments operated on. “It hurts,” says Sylvie Tellier.
Sylvie Tellier’s ski vacation ended earlier than expected! The ex-Miss France 2002 became general manager of the company Miss France, who was staying in Avoriaz in Haute-Savoie, was the victim of a skiing accident. She was the victim of a “beautiful bowl” last Monday, as she says on Instagram.
In her message on social networks, Sylvie Tellier thanked “the Avoriaz teams”, her family and friends and “the fantastic duo of Lyon ambulance men” where she comes from.
If she says she can not wait to resume her daily activities, Sylvie Tellier confides: “It’s terrible. It hurts. It’s long. You can’t do anything”. And she confides her anguish: “What really anguishes me the most is not to regain my sporting ability. Because sport for me is necessary in fact, it is my oxygen bubble ( …) I want to run, I want to cycle, paddle, yoga “.
Sylvie Tellier will have to wait because she is suffering from a rupture of the cruciate ligaments in her right knee. The bad news fell after exams during the week: she will have to undergo surgery soon. Each year, around 140,000 French people are injured while skiing.
Several ex-Miss France have sent messages of support to Sylvie Tellier: Iris Mittenaere, Eldoei Gossuin or Sonia Rolland. But also the TV hosts Alessandra Sublet and Valérie Damidot or the Deputy Minister Marlène Schiappa.
