Rap night with Georgio and Fadah

Saturday, November 27, the Rio Grande team receives Georgio and Fadah, for a high-flying rap evening. The first is one of the most talented feathers of his generation, originally from Paris; the second comes from the Toulouse alternative scene.

If rap and poetry can sometimes meet, nobody mixes them as well as Georgio, this rapper son of a music composer, member of a punk group and a Guadeloupe singer mother. In his fourth album, Sacré, he continues to quote Romain Gary, Jacques Prévert, Rimbaud, Toni Morrison… Always helped by Angelo Foley for the arrangements on guitar and piano and by Phazz for the beats, his eighteen new songs are strikingly pictorial writing.

He will share the stage with Fadah in the first part. Originally from Essonne, this rapper has been evolving for years on the alternative Toulouse scene, which is full of raw talents such as Furax Barbarossa, Omerta Muzik or Al Tarba. With two albums and an EP on the clock since 2013, the rapper from the pink city has accumulated experience, sharpened his style and experimented with new sounds. Back with a new album Chaudar, Fadah exposes his old demons on often soft and melodious instrumentals.
