Pankaj Tripathi will be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in the sequel of Oh My God, replacing Paresh Rawal
Pankaj Tripathi has replaced Paresh Rawal in the sequel of Bollywood’s superhit film ‘Oh My God’. Whereas Akshay Kumar will be seen in Krishna avatar like the first film. The film will be shot in September and October.
The sequel of the 2012 superhit film ‘Oh My God’ is going to be made. Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal were in lead roles in ‘Oh My God’. Mithun Chakraborty also had an important role in this. Due to the superhit of the film, its sequel is being brought. Earlier the shooting of the film was to be held in May-June 2021. But in view of the coronavirus epidemic, its shooting has been pushed forward.
The shooting of ‘Oh My God 2’ will now start in September 2021. Before starting the shooting of the film, many types of ideas were coming into the mind of the makers, which could not be mapped. After the success of the first film, it is a big responsibility of the makers to make its sequel. There is a lockdown right now and the makers want to make it as soon as possible after things get better.
Akshay Kumar will be seen in old avatar
According to the report of Pinkvilla, like the first film, Akshay Kumar will be in the lead role in its sequel but Paresh Rawal is being replaced by Pankaj Tripathi in the film. The film was directed by Umesh Shukla. A source close to the film said, “Oh My God 2 will have Pankaj Tripathi opposite Akshay Kumar. Akshay will be seen in his Krishna avatar in the film.”
Shooting will be completed in two months
The source further added, “Talks have been held with Pankaj Tripathi regarding the film and everything has been finalized.” The film will be shot in September. It has a two-month schedule. The source said, “The pre-production work of the film has started. While in isolation, a team is finding a suitable shooting location and is in talks on the design of the film’s set in the city. The shooting of the film will be completed in October. It will happen.”
