Om Raut’s highly anticipated ‘Adipurush’ which is all set for a theatrical release next year August 11, 2022, is a cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana. The movie features Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, and Saif Ali Khan in pivotal roles. Having said that, Saif, who essays the role of Ravan in the film shared that portraying the character with ten heads ‘is one of the cool things about the film for him.
During an interview with a news portal, the actor said that his whole outlook is just incredibly clouded, blind, and vain., and also added that the portrayal will be ‘larger than (he is)’.He also revealed that there will be some trickery involved…to make it look particularly tough and real as Raavan is India’s kind of Satan, he’s the demon king.
The actor also shared that he was trying to find a way into doing this and feels that everything comes from vanity – the boons that he prays for, the kingdom that he wants. His whole outlook is just incredibly clouded, blind, and vain. He’s a monster and he’s strong and fun to play in that sense,” he said.
On a closing note, the actor admits that it’s a big thing to play the main bad guy and acknowledges that he does have ten heads at a point which is one of the cool things. Apart from Adipurush, Saif Ali Khan will also be seen in ‘Bhoot Police’ and ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’.
