The association of Friends of the Grégoire-Rabiny organ has just completed its concert program in the Collegiate, for this 2023 season.
The first meeting will take place on sunday april 2, at 5.30 p.m., with an organ and flute concert by Blandine Piccinini and Jean-François Dupont. On the program: Pachelbel, Bach, Fauré,… The Sunday May 14at 5 p.m., organ concert with Loriane Llorca for a program: Cabanilles, Frescoaldi, Couperin,… The Sunday June 25, at 5 p.m., Franco-German choir of Toulouse. Founded in 1986, this choir covers a very wide range of music, from baroque music to contemporary music.
Every Thursday, from July 27 to August 31, at 18 hours ; summer serenades by Pierre-Emmanuel Vaudiaux (free admission). Tuesday August 15, at 5 p.m., organ concert with François Menissier. THE Sunday September 17at 5 p.m., organ concert with Jean-Pierre Baston.
The historic organ of the Collegiate Church of Saint-Félix-Lauragais was built in 1781 by the organ builder Grégoire-Rabiny. It was listed as a Historic Monument on July 5, 1943 for the organcase and on March 24, 1967 for the instrumental part. The instrument was restored in 1996.
