Saint-Sixte. Friday, Fiesta Flamenca at the village hall

Saint-Sixte welcomes on Friday January 14, from 8:30 p.m., the Baile Flamenco troupe and dancers with singer Raoul Fernandez, for a frenzied flamenco fiesta. Le Brulhois musical promotes all kinds of music and flamenco is no exception.

It is in the purest flamenco tradition that Raoul Fernandez follows in his father’s footsteps: a warm and deep voice. Introduced to singing and guitar within a warm family, it is only natural that the sons of Manolo: José, Miguel and Raoul find themselves on the stage from their teenage years. Originally from the province of Granada, settled in Lot-et-Garonne, it is with all his family or solo that Raoul performs to transmit the authenticity of a song of which he is the custodian. Raoul Fernandez is one of the rare flamenco singers in Lot-et-Garonne.

Baile Flamenco is an association created in 2010 which aims to transmit the knowledge of flamenco in its different aspects: song, dance, rhythms.

Aurore Garcia-Guillen, dance teacher, regularly trains in flamenco schools in Seville and Jerez de la Frontera. She transmits her passion through conferences on the history, roots and developments that flamenco is experiencing today. The association provides entertainment, organizes and participates in shows, accompanied by Raoul Fernandez on guitar and vocals.
