‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’: The poster shows Green Goblin and gives clues about the villains of the multiverse

The third installment in the Spider-Man saga, starring Tom Holland, opens in theaters on December 17.

The December 17 one of the most anticipated films of the Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Spider-Man: No Way Home, the third installment about Spider-Man played by Tom Holland, promises to be an event in the new stage of the franchise with the introduction of the multiverse. And what does that mean? Well what Peter Parker you will have to face a series of villains already known to fans of the different superhero sagas. Thanks to the poster of the film directed by Jon Watts, you can now take your first look at Green Goblin, a character who was introduced through the movie trailer showing only one of his bombs.

As you can see on the poster, Norma Osborn/Green Goblin appears in the background flying on his glider. The tentacles of Otto Octavius/Doctor Octopus and the rays of Max Dillon/Electro. Lastly, those sand whirlwinds are a reference to William Baker/Sandman.

Spider-Man: No Way Home It is the Phase 4 film of the MCU that has sparked the most theories and rumors. At the moment, it is known that Peter Parker asks for help from Stephen Strange/Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) so people forget about him. On Spider-Man: Far From Home, Quentin Beck/Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) revealed his identity to the world and the young superhero is living a nightmare. Marvel’s Sorcerer Supreme agrees to help him, but something goes wrong when he’s casting his spell and the multiverse becomes a threat.

Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx are the two confirmed actors, so far, of the cast of villains in the film. The first was Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man 2, the sequel to the Tobey Maguire superhero trilogy directed by Sam Raimi. The second was Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2: El poder de Electro, the second installment of Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man. Does that mean Willem Dafoe will return as Green Goblin and what Thomas Haden Church will also make it like Sandman? They both played the villains mentioned in the Raimi saga.
