‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ will be a kind of ‘Endgame’ (while Sony confirms 2 more Marvel movies)

The premiere of Tom Holland’s most anticipated film is approaching. On December 17 we will discover what happens with Spider-Man.

“We’re definitely trying to be ambitious. It’s Spider-Man: Endgame.”, those are the words of the director of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Jon Watts, who do not help to lower the expectations that there are around the film. The third part of the Spider-Man saga starring Tom Holland opens on December 17 and, even today, there are great secrets kept.

Need even more reasons to look forward to the movie? Holland himself believes that it is a crazy idea and that it could not happen until he has seen it come true, as he has stated in an interview with Empire: “The first time I was introduced to the idea I was like ‘Wow, it would be great if we could pull it off, but there’s no way it can work. You won’t be able to get everyone to do what they have to do. It’s not going to happen’. But it happened and it’s crazy“.

A crazy idea, an ambitious project and great surprises. We know that something is brewing in the new Tom Holland movie, but the confirmations come with a dropper. What is assured is that great characters of the franchise return, such as Green Goblin and Doctor Octopuss. The latter was a safe bet on Kevin Feige’s part.

“I remember having conversations with Amy Pascal years ago. Do we want to revisit the villains we’ve already seen? No, we’re going for Vulture, Mysterio, and characters that we haven’t brought to the screen. But I remember thinking, ‘How would you do Doc Ock again?’ Because Alfred Molina is the perfect signing. If you bring him back, it has to be him“Feige confesses.

Alfred Molina is one of the protagonists of the images that Empire has published to celebrate the premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home. The other is poor Peter Parker, who runs to safety from the limbs of Doctor Octopus.

Everything that will happen in the film is a mystery, as is the future of the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – and Sony, this time. While we wait for the premiere of No Way Home, on the billboard is Venom: There will be carnage, another film set in the comics of The House of Ideas that has given a very important clue about the deliveries that are to come. Watch out, SPOILERS are coming!

In the post-credits scene of the symbiote sequel, Eddie Brock travels to an alternate universe thanks to Venom’s hive mind. So you can see J. Jonah Jameson (JK Simmons) revealing the identity of Spider-Man. In other words, Venom has been introduced to the UCM. This is great news for fans of superheroes, especially after discovering that Sony has confirmed two more Marvel films, the first for June 2023 and the second for October of that same year.. No more details are known, but it seems that one of those dates will go to Venom 3. The other could be Spider-Women, directed by Olivia Wilde.
