The new installment of the legendary Netflix series will be released in two parts: The first on May 27 and the second on July 1.
The premiere of the long-awaited season 4 of stranger things is just around the corner and that is why it is not surprising that new and juicy details of this installment that will be divided into two parts.
The latest comes from the hand of Joe Quinn, the new addition this season playing Eddie Munson, the metalhead leader of the club of Dungeons and Dragons of Hawkins. The Duffer brothers have called this season 4 of stranger things as their Game of Thrones. And it just so happens that Joe Quinn was in the hit HBO series.
Although it is difficult to recognize it, Quinn gave life to one of the Winterfell guards who laughs in disbelief at Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) when she arrives to meet her sister in the last season. Stranger Things doesn’t have dragons, but it does have a new villain named Vecna.

Quinn hasn’t been able to give many details about Vecna, but we know from his name that he is an undead wizard from Dungeons & Dragons who became so powerful that he became deified. This season’s big threat is a true nod to the great horror baddies of the past.
That is not the thing, since we will also see demogorgon bats of the Upside Down World, as Quinn himself has advanced in an interview with Entertainment Weekly:
Some of the things we had to do that I can’t talk about were great. There was a stream in the forest. It was shot at night. We got there and the whole forest is illuminated. It was very exciting. There are some sequences that are just… It’s going to be huge. [esta temporada]
