Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Siddharth Pithani, close to the actor in drug case arrested in Hyderabad
The Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested the actor’s friend Siddharth Pithani in a drug case involving Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Siddharth has been arrested in Hyderabad. Let us tell you, one year is coming to an end on the death of Sushant on 14 June.
Siddharth Pithani is among the four people who were present at his house at the time of Sushant’s demise. In this case, Siddharth was questioned several times by Mumbai Police and CBI. Sushant’s dead body was found hanging from the fan in his room.
Sushant’s death shocked the entire industry. Many celebrities mourned his demise. Through social media, the process of paying tribute to Sushant for a long time and remembering him continued.
In this case, Riya Chakraborty, who was then-girlfriend of Sushant, was made the chief accused. Sushant’s father KK Singh had filed a nominated report against him in Patna. Later, on the order of the Supreme Court, the investigation of the case was handed over to the CBI. Drug cases came out through WhatsApp chats. NCB also arrested Riya Chakraborty, who is currently on bail.
In conversation with ETimes, Mumbai Zone charge Sameer Wankhede said that Siddharth will be produced in the court soon. Nobody has been given a clean chit in this matter yet. The report quoted sources as saying that the NCB has taken action against Siddharth Pithani on the basis of phone and WhatsApp details received from the CBI. There is evidence of his connection to drug suppliers.
Siddharth Pithani worked at a graphic design agency. Siddharth was working on Sushant’s Dream 150 project. However, Pisani later quit Sushant’s job and took up a job in Ahmedabad. Sushant summoned Siddharth in January 2020 and got him to join the Dream 150 project.
