the essential
Tanguy Poujade is from Roquecor. Piano teacher and composer, he launched his music production company. One of her compositions was chosen by a writer for one of her novels.

Combine music and literature. It may seem surprising but it is indeed what Tanguy Poujade, piano teacher, and Séréna Davis, writer, did. This young man of 27, from Roquecor, who now lives near Bordeaux, is also a songwriter. A year ago, passionate about musical creation, he decided to launch his own production company. “My passion is composition. I compose, I do the arrangements and the mixing myself. I do everything 100%. To promote my company, my creations and to make myself known, I created several accounts on social networks, including a channel on Youtube. “

This is how a Burgundian writer, Séréna Davis, discovered it. “She contacted me because she really liked A Little Ways Down the Road, one of my compositions. And she thought it went well with the novel she had written ”. “The book is a novel based on the author’s life, it’s a saga about a family from Portugal. »Thus, readers of his book will find at the end of it a QR code which refers to this music. “As we have music for films, series or documentaries, she wanted music to be associated with her book and I find that very innovative”, considers Tanguy Poujade.

This book, which is in fact the first in a series of three volumes, is therefore the start of a partnership between the two artists. “For the next volumes, I will especially compose the musics. For that, I think that I will start by reading them in order to be inspired by them. “And in the long term, the musician hopes to be able to develop other collaborations. “My objective would be to be able to work for projects in the cinema”, recognizes the Roquecortois.
