So Tarnaise Sandra Duluard imagined even less passing the qualifying stage on the first “prime” of this 7th season broadcast on Saturday. “I even told my mother that it was not worth her unpacking when we arrived at the hotel in Cannes for the recording of the show”, smiles the young mother of 31 years. who lives in Saïx near Castres and who thought of returning from the first day.

However, this soldier and rugbywoman not only passed the qualifications but also won the duel in al stride which opened the doors to the final which will be broadcast on February 4 and 11.
“I didn’t think I would go so far on this bonus,” says Sandra, who at the time of the show’s recording last March had almost just given birth and was not in top physical shape. The duel against Clara, very trained, I won mentally. This fan of crossfit and cross training drew on her resources to win against an experienced opponent. “My military experience probably played a role,” explains Sandra, who remembers the cold and the rain during filming. We hadn’t been able to warm up and I preferred to play the strategy card rather than speed and explosiveness. It was not enough to get to the end of the course but it was enough to qualify me for the final”.
Now a new challenge awaits Sandra. “I’m going to fall against monsters in the final, it will be something else entirely and it’s going to be complicated,” she says.
