‘The Batman’: Robert Pattinson’s Dark Knight Faces Enigma In New Trailer

The film, directed by Matt Reeves, hits theaters on March 4, 2022.


Robert Pattinson will debut as the Dark Knight the March 4 – 2022. That’s the day it opens The Batman, the new movie about the famous comic book vigilante directed by Matt Reeves and in which Pattinson plays Bruce Wayne. The film has been one of the great protagonists of the DC FanDome, the virtual and global event of DC in which they have been able to know the news of some of the films of the dc cinematic universe most anticipated. The new trailer for The Batman.

They have been Pattinson, Reeves and Zoë Kravitz -in charge of interpreting Selina Kyle/Catwoman– who have presented the trailer. Before that, some behind-the-scenes footage of the film has been shown. “The first time I spoke to Matt he said, ‘I need something radically different than what we’ve seen in other Batman movies before,” recalls Pattinson. The actor has also said that he auditioned for the role with the Batman suit that Val Kilmer used in Batman Forever (1995).

The trailer begins with the arrest of Edward Nashton/Enigma (Paul Dano), who leaves a coffee cup with a question mark on it. From there, the preview shows Batman fighting a group of men with their faces painted white. Then it’s the turn of Selina Kyle and other characters like Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin (Colin Farrell). The preview ends with an impressive chase between the latter villain and Batman.

The Batman completes its main cast with Andy Serkis in the de Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright in the commissioner’s James Gordon and John Turturro in that of Carmine Falcone. On these lines, do not miss the trailer.
