Next year promises to be exciting for pop and rock tours. After Sting, in the spring, the Zenith will host The Cure in November. Enough to revive many memories in Toulouse.
The Cure, legendary rock group composed of Robert Smith (and his famous hair) on vocals and guitar, Simon Gallup on bass, Roger O’Donnell on keyboards, Reeves Gabrels on guitar and Jason Cooper on drums returns after 5 years of absence.
Since their first concert in 1979 at the Bataclan (already organized by the founders of Alias) and today, more than 40 years of Cold Wave history contemplate us. Subscribers to sporadic concerts in France, The Cure finally launches, affirm its promoters, “in the largest French tour ever carried out by the cult group”.
From November 7, 2022, they will travel through France to finish in style in Paris on November 28 at the Accor Arena in Paris.
The first part will be provided by the Scots of The Twilight Sad. As long as we are, say, between 50 and 70 years old, we bring out the black gabardine, we put on the Creepers and we go to treat ourselves to a good makeover. And we also warmly welcome the younger generations for a turbulent journey through time.
The Cure at the Zénith de Toulouse, Sunday 13 November 2022. Prices: from 60.50 euros. Tickets on sale from December 9. Tel. 05 62 73 44 70 (www.bleucitron.net).
