‘The Wheel of Time’ transfers its magic to its latest trailer: an immersive experience starring Moiraine

The first three episodes of the first season will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, November 19, followed by a weekly premiere until its end on December 24.

Approaches one of the most anticipated releases of the year and one of the most ambitious projects in the history of Amazon Studios, so the streaming platform has released a last official trailer of The Wheel of Time the most special. An immersive and 3D immersion that allows the audience to be part of a “wheel” of magic and power from the hand of Moiraine, its protagonist, an Aes Sedai played by actress Rosamund Pike who is determined to find the Reborn Dragon, the only one who can save the world from the threat of a Dark One who is ever closer.

Above these lines you can see the trailer of the series that Amazon Prime Video launched last September, but You will have to watch the new one on YouTube, using the 360º player and enjoying its surround sound. You have it below:

Far from enjoying it as a traditional trailer -although full of magic, fantasy and heart attack scenarios, yes-, the new trailer for which the streaming platform has opted is presented as a unique immersive experience in which the advance promotional has become a virtual three-dimensional “wheel”. During its viewing, fans will discover on the left of the screen the powerful channeling of Moiraine’s “Unique Power”, with his voice and face, artifacts and symbols hidden between the energy loops. Nevertheless, if they turn to the right, they will find the corruption of the Dark One that represents the descent into madness.

Likewise, the audio that accompanies the trailer is also special, with an immersive sound that adds to the technology used to create the wheel.

About ‘The Wheel of Time’

Adaptation of what is undoubtedly one of the most famous and acclaimed sagas in fantasy literature, the new Amazon Studios project is ambitious like few others. The story created by Robert Jordan on paper takes us to a vast and equally epic world in which magic exists, but in which only some women are allowed to use it. One of them is precisely its protagonist, Moiraine, a member of a powerful female organization known as the Aes Sedai who are entrusted with the mission of channeling the One Power and thus saving the world from its destruction.

And that is precisely what it tries to do Moiraine, whose story begins with his arrival in the small town of Dos Ríos, where he meets a group of five young people with whom he will begin a dangerous and long journey around the world. One of them, according to the prophecy, is destined to become the Dragon Reborn and, in his role, save or destroy humanity.
