The well-known Turkish actor signs for the streaming platform in a feature film that will reunite him with his partner Dilan Çiçek Deniz.

Great news for Burak Deniz fans. The actor who swept Hayat: Love without words -together with Hande Erçel- and Our history has signed for Netflix to star in the feature film outgoing. He will do it with Dilan Çiçek Deniz, another well-known Turkish actress who has participated in Hole, among other projects. Filming will begin in February 2022 and few details are still known about it, but we can already gather enough information to begin to imagine what it will be like.

The company behind it is OGM Pictures. The name may not sound like much to you, but what if we say My home my destiny, Innocent O The gift? They are the creators of all those series. OGM has a long experience with the ‘streaming’ platform, since together they have developed the film Paper lives and That summer.

Netflix seems to bet on their own talents and maintain their relationships, as the two leading actors have worked for the platform before. In the case of Burak Deniz, brings to life a young punk who comes to California to fulfill his dream of releasing an album in the movie in between. It is a curious film that is a bit out of the style of Turkish productions. As to Dilan Cicek Deniz, has starred Ticket to tomorrow, a romantic story where two strangers meet on a train ride between Ankara and Izmir.

The best Turkish love series on Netflix

The interpreters are meant to work together. Two years ago they had signed for the series Patron, but the project was canceled. This allowed them to appear in Love That Left Rim, a Blu TV production about a journalist who is assassinated and comes back to life resurrected in the body of another person. Neither of them was the main choice for the title role – interestingly, Hande Erçel was one of them – but the stars lined up to work together. Now they do it again for the enjoyment of their fans.

The director of the feature film is Ozan Açıktan, who already worked with Dilan Çiçek Deniz on Ticket to tomorrow and on the Netflix tape That summer. Filming is scheduled to begin in early 2022, after Burak Deniz finishes filming for bashmeran, with Serenay Sarikaya. Surprise! It’s also from Netflix. Without a doubt, the company is betting heavily on the Turkish industry.
