The Pocket Friends are hosting Samuel Leroy for a concert this evening. For many years, the artist has worn the colors of French song. The title of his show, “Trois Gouttes de cyanide deux sous de guise”, is also that of his latest album.
Samuel Leroy is used to doing everything: piano, guitar and of course the texts often full of humor. An exception: a text by Claude Lemesle (who wrote for many artists, from Reggiani to Dassin) with whom he wrote a song for Isabelle Aubret.
The insomniac troubadour, night watchman, day awakener, writes life, mixes genres of humor with poetry, talks to us about everything: from his mechanic to Mozart or Victor Hugo!
